Dr. Murphy is an assessment specialist, helping organizations make better selection and development decisions about current and future leaders.
During 20 years of practice, he has assessed hundreds of managers, senior managers, and executives across a wide-range of industries and sectors.
Dr. Murphy’s combination of academic training, practical work experience and skills in the fields of business, human sciences and counselling psychology, afford him a useful perspective and framework when it comes to assessing and deploying top talent. Expertise in the psychological factors of leadership is combined with a deep understanding of the complex dynamics of organizational life, offering clients assessment solutions that lead to clear decisions regarding key talent resources.
Dr. Murphy earned a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in Counselling Psychology. In addition to his academic studies and training in Psychology, he also earned an undergraduate degree in Commerce from Queen’s University, as well as a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto.
Dr. Murphy is a licensed Psychologist, registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. He is licensed to work with individuals and organizations.
